Support for TLS Version 1.0 and 1.1

Support for Transport Layer Security (TLS) versions 1.0 and 1.1 is deprecated.

Why we deprecated this feature

RFC-7525 explains why it is recommended to stop using TLS version 1.0 and 1.1 and adopt TLS version 1.2 and higher. There are no fixes or patches that can adequately fix SSL or deprecated TLS, therefore switching to a secure alternative is crucial. As of the beginning of 2020, TLS version 1.0 and 1.1 have been or will soon be removed from the main web browsers.

Are you affected?

The latest versions of the main web browsers and programming languages already support the TLS newer versions (1.2 and higher). If you use one of those versions, you are not affected.

You may be affected if you are using an older version of the libraries or programming languages in your tools. To verify, check the documentation for your tool:

Action required

Ensure that all your components and integrations use TLS version 1.2 or higher.

What will happen if you do not upgrade to the newer versions

The integration with the GoodData platform will not work.
