Data Warehouse Technology

Agile Data Warehousing Service is based on the Vertica database. Each node in an Data Warehouse cluster runs an instance of the Vertica database.

Data Warehouse supports the SQL:99 standard with several Vertica-specific extensions.

You need GoodData’s Data Warehouse JDBC Driver to connect to Data Warehouse. The Vertica JDBC driver cannot be used to connect to Data Warehouse. See Download the JDBC Driver.
