Referencing Floating Time Periods

These macros use the current time as specified by the project's time zone when evaluating time periods. For more information, see Project Time Zone.

Because time macros are values that belong to a date attribute, they inherit the granularity of the attribute with which they are associated. These macros are useful for creating reports that relate to data from "today" or "yesterday" or to data from "quarter-to-date" or "year-to-date" floating periods.

You can also use multiple time macros within the same metric definition.
