The project model is displayed as an oriented graph that represents the relationship between all the facts and attributes within the project. This logical data model is useful for understanding how data can be sliced and diced.
For more information about data models, see Planning Your Data Model.
Aggregations of facts (metrics) can only be broken down across attributes that relate to those facts. Anything else would produce a nonsensical result. It's the logical data model that helps the application disallow such combinations of unrelated facts and attributes in any given report.
Click the graph opens the image full-size in a new window.
This full-sized image of the logical data model can be searched. Use your browser's page search feature to locate specific data objects in your model.
The Model Page legend indicates how each project element is displayed in the entity relationship diagram.
