Using CloudConnect with White Labeled GoodData
CloudConnect is a legacy tool and will be discontinued. We recommend that to prepare your data you use the GoodData data pipeline as described in Data Preparation and Distribution. For data modeling, see Data Modeling in GoodData to learn how to work with Logical Data Modeler.
When using CloudConnect with your white-labeled GoodData solution, you may assume some features needs additional or different setup to work correctly. See the tips below to learn more about those differences.
Working with Java 6
Since there is a limited support for SNI functions in Java 6 you are not able to connect using your white labeled url (i.e. “analytics.mycompany.com”). Anyway we implemented transparency and you can use secure.gooddata.com and it will be automatically redirected.
Simply select the Sign in as Different User from the CloudConnect menu and fill in the change:
