Next Steps

Congratulations, you have completed the GoodData Developer Tutorial!

Review the following sections to get ideas about how to extend the Twitter demo project:

Extend the Twitter Demo Project

Use Your Own Developer Application

The demo project references a Twitter developer application provided by GoodData. At some point, this application may no longer work due to excessive users, deprecation, or other changes. If you intend to extend this project, revise the project to reference your own Twitter developer application. For more information, see Analyzing Twitter Search.

Capture Tweets about Your Organization

The demo project extracts tweets from the public Twitter Search API that reference GoodData. You can modify the project to capture tweet data for your organization.

For step-by-step instructions on how to customize the demo project to gather tweets applicable to your organization, see Analyzing Twitter Search.

Capture More Tweet Data

When the demo project graph is executed, the most recent 100 tweets are posted to the project. You can modify the project to capture more of your organization tweet history.

For more information, see Capturing More Twitter Search API Data.

Start Using Life Cycle Management (LCM)

If you need to provision and maintain multiple projects, try out the Life Cycle Management (LCM) feature. LCM is a GoodData feature that allows you to configure and control multiple projects through master projects.

For more information, see Managing Workspaces via Life Cycle Management.
