CloudConnect System Requirements
CloudConnect is a legacy tool and will be discontinued. We recommend that to prepare your data you use the GoodData data pipeline as described in Data Preparation and Distribution. For data modeling, see Data Modeling in GoodData to learn how to work with Logical Data Modeler.
CloudConnect is a separate Java application for creating and managing connections between enterprise data feeds and your GoodData projects. This application simplifies the process of gathering your enterprise data, transforming it for use in GoodData, and loading the GoodData databases.
CloudConnect is a standalone application. Download it and install it on your local desktop.
In order for CloudConnect to run, the following requirements must be met:
- One of the following OS’s:
- Microsoft Windows XP or newer, 32 bit and 64 bit
- GNU/Linux 32 bit and 64bit
- Mac OS X
- 4GB of RAM
- (Mac users) Default Java system set to 1.8 or newer. Go to Finder -> Applications -> Utilities -> Java -> Java preferences, and reorder the available Java installations so that Java 8 is at the top of the list.
