Opening the CloudConnect Modeler
CloudConnect is a legacy tool and will be discontinued. We recommend that to prepare your data you use the GoodData data pipeline as described in Data Preparation and Distribution. For data modeling, see Data Modeling in GoodData to learn how to work with Logical Data Modeler.
Steps:
- In the Project Explorer tab, open the project you just created (for example, HRDemo).
- Among the project folders, click the model folder, which is where the LDM file is to be stored.
- In the CloudConnect toolbar, click the New icon (
). From the drop-down, select Logical Data Model. The New Logical Data Model window opens. - For the Title, enter a value. It may be useful to include “LDM” in the title. For the example, you might use HRDemo2LDM.
- Click Finish. The logical data model is created, and a blank canvas is displayed.
