Creating Your CloudConnect Project
CloudConnect is a legacy tool and will be discontinued. We recommend that to prepare your data you use the GoodData data pipeline as described in Data Preparation and Distribution. For data modeling, see Data Modeling in GoodData to learn how to work with Logical Data Modeler.
To begin, you must create a CloudConnect project.
A CloudConnect project is connected to a GoodData project on the platform, which is where users interact with the dataset you are building. These different projects are created in separate environments. This connection is covered in a later step.
Steps:
In the CloudConnect toolbar, click the New icon (
). From the drop-down, select CloudConnect Project. The New CloudConnect Project window is displayed.
Enter a name for your project. For this example, you may use HRDemo.
(Optional) For the GoodData working project, you may choose to select an existing project, create a new one, or skip the step at this time. For now, skip this step.
Click Finish. The CloudConnect project is created.
