Connect to the Platform through CloudConnect
CloudConnect is a legacy tool and will be discontinued. We recommend that to prepare your data you use the GoodData data pipeline as described in Data Preparation and Distribution. For data modeling, see Data Modeling in GoodData to learn how to work with Logical Data Modeler.
To build your logical data model in the LDM Modeler, establish a connection with your GoodData projects through the application.
After you establish your connection to the GoodData Platform, your credentials are stored in the CloudConnect Designer in encrypted format. You should not have to re-login to the GoodData Platform.
Steps:
- From your local desktop, launch CloudConnect Designer.
- From the application menu, select Server > Sign In.
- If prompted, provide the user credentials that you use to connect to your GoodData projects.
- (Optional) Open the GD Server Explorer tab and click the Refresh icon at the top of the tab. The list of projects is refreshed.
