Exporting Raw Report Data

For performance reasons, the GoodData Portal can process only a limited number of rows (see Maximum Report Size). If you want to display large reports or visualize and manage the data in another application, you can export raw report data as a CSV file.

You can export the report data as a CSV file:

• Through the GoodData Portal (see Export Reports)

• Through the raw data export API (see API Reference)

  Data extracted via the raw report API is not cross-tabulated.

  To be able to export raw report data through the API, you need to have the following:

  • Platform credentials
  • The workspace ID (see Find the Workspace ID) and the report ID for the report that you want to export (for general information on finding IDs, see Acquiring Object Identifiers for Workspace Metadata)
