Line Chart in Report Editor

Line charts are best used to express changes in a metric across time or progress across a series of stages.

The following example shows the number of activities that occurred each day, broken across various types of activities, between early December 2012 and early January 2013. 

Line charts may be enhanced by trend lines. For each series of data in the chart, you can enable the display of a trend line, keyed off of the maximum, minimum, median, or computed value for the data in the series. Trend lines can be enabled through the Configuration panel in the Report Editor. See Global Settings.

To display a report as a line chart, from the Report Editor, select Line Chart from the list of chart icons:
